Graduate Student Learning Mentor – What you will need:

·Graduated with a 2.1 in your degree (various subjects are welcomed)

·Strong A-Levels are required

·Experience working with young people would be an advantage

·Resilient and flexible

·Able to quickly build relationships with staff, students and parents/carers

Graduate Student Learning Mentor – The School:

·Located in Barnet.

·Paid between £350-£400 per week

·Excellent transport to the school along with large car park

·Working with excellent teachers who are extremely passionate about their profession

·Recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted

·Good track record working with graduates from i-teachers

·Full training and guidance offered

Graduate Student Learning Mentor – The Role

Your role will include working with students at both ends of the academic spectrum. You will be working with students who need specialised and targeted support in certain areas of the curriculum in order for them to grasp certain concepts or in order for them to achieve a higher level of understanding. You will also be working closely with different department teachers and leads in order to improve on your planning techniques ready for your career in education. This school have worked with i-teachers before and with our graduates and have been excellent in their training and guidance they have offered. They want you to gain an excellent all-round experience at school and they want to give you the tools and opportunities!
