Learning Support Assistant – Graduate
- Full-time Learning Support Assistant role
- Graduate role – 2:1 or above required
- Previous experience working or volunteering with young people essential
- A good understanding of barriers to education highly desirable
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Perfect experience for a future Educational Psychologist
- Earn £300-£350 per week
- Starting ASAP for the rest of the academic year
The role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant you will work with a key group of students at risk of underachieving due to a variety of reasons. You will play a key role in ensuring they achieve their potential. These students may be experiencing difficulties and therefore your patience, calm nature and determination will be vital to removing barriers to education. The ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly will be essential as well as your capability to think on your feet and adapt to the situation as needed.
