Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant- Person specification
For this role you will need to have achieved a 2:1 degree in Maths, ideally this will be from a Russell Group University. You will need to have gained some work experience working with children-not necessarily in a school. The school would like a graduate who is a naturally confident, dynamic person who can communicate effectively with a wide range of children with differing needs.
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant- About the role
This role involves working in a flourishing Maths department where you’ll be working within a close nit team. The role itself involves assisting a variety of Maths teachers in day to day tasks. This will involve helping to plan lessons and bring new exciting ideas to the table. You will also be responsible for conducting 1:1 and group interventions with students who may be struggling with certain aspects of Maths, this may be students who are on the C/D borderline and need to hit their target grades.
