This is a truly unique opportunity to kick start a long and fruitful career in education without having to go down the traditional PGCE route. You would spend the rest of the academic year providing vital maths tuition for students preparing for their all-important exams.

To apply for this role you will need to have a strong academic record (minimum 2:1, Russell Group universities desirable). You might have studied maths, economics, science or engineering at university. Other subjects will certainly be considered provided you have a strong maths A level. Ideally you will have experience tutoring or volunteering with young people. You must also have a genuine commitment to pursuing a career in education and be excited about the opportunity to progress within this school.
