Graduate Pastoral Mentor – about you:

  • 2:1 or 1st class degree (preferably psychology)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Previous work with pupils is desirable
  • Supportive and inspiring personality

Graduate Pastoral Mentor – the school:

  • Based in Birmingham
  • Excellent senior leadership department
  • Full time, Monday – Friday school hours
  • Warm environment
  • Supportive pastoral department
  • Good transportation links
  • £325 – £425 per week, term time

Graduate Pastoral Mentor – the role:

  • Develop teaching techniques
  • Promote positive behaviour
  • Take note of pupils’ mental wellbeing and what you can do to help improve it
  • Provide 1:1 / small group intervention sessions
  • Monitor student progress
  • Implement behaviour policies
  • Support pupils with a range of academic ability
