Pastoral Support Tutor:

About The Role:
This is a really interesting position that is incredibly diverse in its nature, whereby you will be providing pastoral, academic and social support for students.
A large part of your role will be liaising and working collaboratively with subject specific teachers and within cross-curricular activities, ensuring students receive the support they need both in and outside of the classroom setting. You will be allocated a specific group of students who you will take under your wing and assist and support them through the rest of the academic year – both academically and emotionally.
You will preferably have a degree in a core subject with a minimum of a 2:1, preferably Russell Group or top 20 university as well as strong A-Levels.
Ideally, you will have had some form of experience working with young people and will have a confident and adaptable personality. It is essential, however, for you to be a confident communicator as will be required to liaise with a number of different parties.
