Graduate Personal Mentor
The Secondary school is based in Watford with excellent transport links via the tube and has a large car park available to all staff members. The school has a fantastic reputation in the local area with a brilliant story about its origins and foundations. Graduate Personal Mentor
You will be the role model that lots of students from different backgrounds need in their lives. You will be that person that they aspire to be like in their future – academically and socially. You will need to have a 2.1 minimum in your degree to be considered for this role in a variety of different subjects along with good A-Levels and GCSEs.
You will need to show personality; positivity, ambition and the genuine desire to work with young people to make a difference to their lives. You will need to be reliable, hard-working and willing to go the extra mile for your students and for the school.
Graduate Personal Mentor
You will be working with specific students in order to boost their academic progress in school. This could be in your specific subject area or in a mixture of other departments and disciplines. Your role will be to mentor them to their own targets and goals that have been set by their different class Teachers. Supporting them on their journey to progress and attainment both academically and in different situations around the school. You will be in close communication with Teachers and Senior Members of staff on the progress of the students and different strategies to employ in order to get the best out of them.
