Graduate Primary Learning Mentor

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday role
  • Paid £60 – £65 a day (term time)

This role is perfect for an ambitious graduate who is keen to take on responsibility from the start. You will be supporting throughout Year 6 in this 2-form entry primary school. Primarily the role will be supporting the class teachers with the planning and delivering of Year 6 SATS session, in order to give all children the extra support to reach their potential.

You will be differentiating classwork, to give those with a higher ability much needed challenge they are looking for, and those with a lower ability the extra support and encouragement they may need. This support will be through the delivery of targeted interventions and booster groups on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a high-pressured working environment, as well as a strong educational background, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree. Experience working with children or young people in any setting is desirable. You will need to have a commitment to education, safeguarding and the welfare of children.
