Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

This warm and inclusive primary school based in the Leeds area is looking to find a dedicated and passionate Psychology graduate to join their outstanding SEN department in September as a Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant.

Are you recent Psychology graduate with a real dedication to supporting children with additional behavioural needs?

Do you want the opportunity to work under the guidance and tutelage of an outgoing and inspirational SENCO as a Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant?

Furthermore, are you interested in a career in Education Psychology, and want to gain relevant and rewarding experience as a Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant?

In this role as a Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside an outstanding SEN department supporting the academic, social and emotional development of children with additional behavioural needs.

You will be planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions, based around a tailored and specific lesson plan making sure that the child receives a superb standard of support and care throughout, allowing them to stay focused and motivated throughout the session.

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology subject degree
  • Strong academic background
