Person Specification – KS2 Teaching Assistant – (Graduate/Primary)
The school requires an ambitious graduate who has obtained a 2:1 or above in their degree, and ideally has some experience working with children. It is essential to have a real passion to work in education, demonstrated by work or voluntary experiences in a child based setting, although not necessarily in a school. Ideally you will have the desire and motivation to become a teacher in the future. The school therefore requires a graduate who has excellent communication skills and possesses a motivational attitude.


The Role – KS2 Teaching Assistant – (Graduate/Primary)

As a Primary Teaching Assistant working with KS2 you will be supporting children aged between 7 – 11 years old, assisting with the organising, planning and preparation of lessons. As you grow in confidence you will be able to deliver sections of lessons too. The school is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant who has strong curriculum knowledge, as you will be supporting by running literacy and numeracy interventions from Year 3 to Year 6.
