Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – The Role:

• Assist within a lovely KS1 class
• Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure positive progress
• Take on small group interventions
• Work with some children with special educational needs
• Plan, deliver and gather resources for interventions
• Assist within English and Maths – supporting students to grasp new concepts
• Gain experience and take on more responsibility as your confidence grows prior to training to teach the following year

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Person specification:

• Graduate role
• 1 or 1^st degree
• All subjects considered
• Must have a desire and passion to work within education
• Previous experience working with young people is essential
• Pro-active, self-starter who can use your initiative to impact students
