This particular school in the Bradford region is looking to hire a recent graduate for their role as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to help develop and progress the learning of their pupils and give everyone at the school an equal opportunity.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Bradford

  • Core Subject graduate with degree of 2:1 or above

The role – In this role the successful graduate will be expected to offer support to pupils and staff throughout the school day during lessons, and help enhance the understanding of the subject curriculum by conducting 1:1 sessions with pupils either in our outside of the classroom as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant. The candidate must be able to help organise, plan and in case of teacher absence conduct classes to a high standard, and make sure that each student is given an equal opportunity to perform to the highest standard.

The School – In this school there are a number of fantastic extracurricular options available to pupils in which their understanding of subjects can be enhanced, as well as a number of facilities which will allow them to have the best chance at fulfilling their potential. As well as a number of activities and facilities, the school has a fantastic staff department across all core subjects. This not only gives the pupils a fantastic chance of achieving immensely, it also gives the chance for new staff to develop their teaching skill set and add more strings to the bow in the future.

The Graduate – The successful graduate will be expected to come into work with a positive and infectious attitude each day, which will in turn motivate pupils during lessons to perform and work as hard as they can to achieve. They must have suitable communication skills so that when communicating with students they are able to explain their points well enough for the pupil to understand the candidates point and act upon the information being given. Prior experience would be ideal for the role however not a necessity.
