Role Specification
- Working 1:1 with Science students
- Organising and conducting own sessions
- Recognising and developing students weak points
- Developing and enhancing their subject knowledge
- Communicating in an appropriate and respectful manor
Role Requirements – In this role you will firstly need to possess a minimum 2:1 degree in Science, displaying your subject knowledge throughout your tenure in the school to the students under your supervision. You will need to have a good amount of GCSE Science subject knowledge, ready to help educate and enhance the subject knowledge of the students throughout the school day as a graduate science learning mentor. You will need to have great communication skills and a passionate and motivating personality, which will help the students to focused and inspired throughout the sessions. Prior experience working with students would be ideal.
The School – This particular secondary academy’s main goal is to help each child discover and develop their main educational passion, by making sure that they are receiving the correct education and are surrounded by the best facilities available. They expect their pupils to be creative, innovative and involved not only in school but in the community, making themselves active and available to different educational scenarios throughout their period at the school.
