An ideal candidate for this role is a graduate of Science who holds a degree in Physics, Chemistry or Biology and achieved at least a 2:1 with strong A Levels to support. This successful school are looking for a graduate who has a strong academic background, is passionate about Science and able to demonstrate that passion in a classroom support setting. Prior experience tutoring / mentoring young people would be advantageous to your application, or experience in a similar Science Technician position.

As a Graduate Science Technician your responsibilities will include; the preparation of workshop apparatus/equipment and materials as required, advising and assisting in the preparation of practical’s and controlled assessments, maintenance and cleaning of equipment after use. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to supervise and assist students during lessons, working with the class teacher to develop and deliver lessons.
