Graduate Science Technician – Birmingham

Have you recently completed your Science degree and are torn between going into industry or education?

This is a fabulous opportunity for any Science graduate who is considering going into teaching and would like to broaden your teaching skills, whilst working closely to support the running of this busy Science Department.

Science Graduate Technician

  • Science Graduate
  • Paid £300 – £325 a week
  • Ideally you will have a degree in any Science
  • Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialist
  • Starting September for whole academic year
  • Some transferable experience highly desirable
  • Routes to Schools Direct
  • Good graded Secondary and Sixth Form
  • Birmingham – central location – B12
  • Close to great transport links

This Graduate Science Technician opportunity will see you supporting through the whole Science Department in this busy and exciting school.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all classes are fully equipped fpr practical lessons and you are on hand to ensure that the delivery of these lessons goes smoothly.

Part of the this role will see you working as an Academic Learning Coach, which gives you the responsibility of supporting 1:1 and small groups with the Science Curriculum. You will even have the opportunity to create and lead your own sessions and take on elements of cover within this department!
