Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant – Your background

  • Minimum 2.1 in your degree (Psychology preferred but all degrees are welcomed)
  • Good academic background
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working
  • Determined to make an impact on the lives of young people
  • Have a genuine passion for education

Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant – Your position at school

  • You will be supporting the class as a whole and assisting the class Teacher with different tasks to aid the learning experience
  • Also work with groups of specific students with additional needs such as SEMH/ASD
  • Run your own intervention sessions to help and encourage them to get to where they need to be
  • Become a valued member of the team
  • Work closely with the SENCo and Head Teacher
