To be considered for this Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
- 1st or 2:1 degree – Russell Group (preferable) in psychology or a core subject
- A passion to support others
- Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred
- Strong behaviour management
As a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant you would be working with students of varying abilities and would need to demonstrate a patient, caring, supportive and an encouraging manner within the classroom and towards the pupils. It would be desirable if you have had previous experience of working within a school or educational setting, especially supporting children with special educational needs.
A strong degree and a passion for education are vital ingredients for this school who would fully support the successful candidate and it would be expected that you would be looking to become a teacher or an educational psychologist.
