Graduate SEN Primary Support
This amazing primary school is located in Wolverhampton and is well-connected to local public transport links, this school is easily accessible by a number of bus and train routes. The ideal candidate should be confident and considerate, potentially with experience working with young people and SEN learners. Previous experience with SEN is essential, but you will be given the skills to apply this to the school setting!
You will be given enough training to fully be able to support a number of children who have additional needs, primarily Autism but also other children with ADHD and Downs Syndrome. At times your role will include taking the children to the fantastic sensory room which is within this school in order to allow the child to remain calm and happy. For the majority of the time you will be supporting the children within mainstream classes, however on occasion you will be required to support the child on a 1:1 basis outside of the classroom within interventions including some speech and language therapy. For this area you will be given support and training.
