SEN Primary Teaching Assistant – The Requirements

  • Minimum 2:1 required in your degree (Psychology preferred but others are welcomed)
  • Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
  • Experience in a similar role working with SEN students/young people
  • Resilient and determined to make an impact!
  • Looking for a long-term role

SEN Primary Teaching Assistant – The Role:

  • Working with different pupils with SEN (Could be ADHD, ASD or Physical Disabilities)
  • Supporting pupils around school, academically and socially to ensure they are making steps in the right direction
  • Implementing your own intervention strategies
  • Liaising with Head Teacher, SENCo and members of staff
  • Working closely with parents to suggest new ways of learning and progress of their child
