Graduate SEN Support Assistant

  • Minimum 2:1 degree – ideally in Psychology or core subject
  • Perfect experience before a career as an Educational Psychologist
  • Fantastic training and support provided
  • Previous experience preferable
  • Paid up between £70-£90 daily rate 
  • Large School based in Barnet

This role involves joining the schools fantastic inclusion team. The school have an excellent support system in place for their students who have difficulties managing the behaviour and emotions of their pupils. Every student will follow a broad and balanced curriculum that is matched to their needs and interests and a wide range of strategies are used to support them individually. This is a truly excellent experience for any graduate keen to build a career in education.

You will have access to full training to be able to effectively deliver these sessions and support these students both academically and pastorally.

This role is ideal for a resilient, patient and committed graduate with a 2:1 or above degree who is keen to gain more school based experience. This role would suit an aspiring Teacher or Educational Psychologist keen to enhance your CV with the best skills and qualities to become a successful teacher. Ideally you will have relevant experience working with children either through voluntary placements at university or paid roles. Experience of working with vulnerable children would be advantageous but not essential, if you have a passion, commitment and understanding of the needs of vulnerable children then this role could be for you.
