Graduate Teaching Assistant – Geography Graduate

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Geography Graduate

  • Paid £350 – £450 per week
  • Between £75 – £85 a day, experience dependant
  • September 2020 start
  • Kent based secondary school
  • Role suitable for a high-achieving Geography Graduates (2.1 or above)
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, long-term role
  • Fabulous experience prior to teacher training

What will you be doing as a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant?

  • Collaborating within the Geography department
  • Observing outstanding lessons
  • As your confidence grows, you can take on cover lessons
  • Earning whilst you learn from experienced and outstanding teachers
  • Deliver your own 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Using your knowledge within either Geography Language and/or Literature to support the Geography department
  • Support KS3, KS4 and KS5

What will you need?

  • Geography related degree, 2.1 or above
  • Passion and enthusiasm to work in education
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Previous experience working with young people
