Are you a warm, caring and supportive recent Psychology, Childhood Studies or Education based graduate passionate about the opportunity to support children with complex learning difficulties as a Learning Support Mentor in the Leeds area for the academic year?

We are currently working with a fantastic primary school located in the Leeds area who are eager to add a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Mentor to their superb KS1 SEN department for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as a Learning Support Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to pupils with complex learning needs inside of a classroom setting.

Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small SEN support to KS1 children
  • Tailoring SEN support based around Education Health Care Plan
  • Maintaining high standards throughout school hours
  • Paid £90 per day during term time
  • Monday to Friday role for the remainder of the academic year
  • February 2025 start – Online CPD courses included

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based Psychology, Childhood or Education Studies degree
  • Prior experience tutoring, mentoring or working with children
  • Naturally resilient and ambitious individual
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about tutoring in your specialist subject
