Maths Teaching Assistant

  • Term time only, Monday-Friday role
  • Work School hours (8:30-3:45)
  • Fantastic Secondary School in Derbyshire (DE7)

Person Specification

  • 2:1 or above degree, Maths based
  • Patient and empathetic individual
  • Previous experience with children/young people
  • Aspiring teacher
  • Confident communicator

About the role

After being allocated a specific group of students who you will assist and support them through the rest of the year, both academically and with personal, social or emotional difficulties. This role has a huge focus on exam preparation, so you will be working with Year 11 groups.
