Science Academic Mentor- Teacher Training Route – Role:

• Teach pupils across KS3 – KS4
• Focus on your subject specialism (Science and STEM)
• Offer tailored 1:1 & group interventions
• Work with pupils of mixed abilities
• Mentor students to engage with STEM subjects
• Communicate clearly with key stakeholders

Science Academic Mentor- Teacher Training Route – Person Specification:

• 1^st or 2:1 degree in a Science based course (Chemistry, Biology, Physics welcomed)
• Fantastic subject knowledge and passion for teaching
• Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
• Desire to train to teach
• Experience tutoring/coaching pupils is desirable
