SEN Support Assistant – Key Information:                                   

  • SEN Support Assistant- Full-time role
  • Based in Stockport, Manchester (SK3)
  • Good transportation links
  • £65- £75 per day, term time

SEN Support Assistant – The Role:

  • SEN Support Assistant- school-based experience
  • Fantastic ­­­inclusion department with experienced and supportive staff
  • Develop teaching techniques and communication skills
  • Promote positive behaviour and mental health
  • Lead 1:1 intervention sessions with students with SEN
  • Monitor student progress
  • Ability to cater to an array of different educational needs
  • Support students with a range of academic ability
  • Take on feedback to continually improve your practice

SEN Support Assistant – Person Specification:

  • 2:1 or 1st class degree (preferably psychology)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Previous work with young people is desirable
  • Supportive and inspiring personality
  • Patient and empathetic mentality is crucial
  • Strong academic background
  • Passionate about education
