A school based in Greenwich, London is offering a talented and passionate graduate the opportunity to work within their SEN Department with a dedicated and innovative team of staff. The school is easily accessible by public transport from surrounding areas and the department is a part of a mainstream Primary setting.
As a Teaching Assistant, you must be dedicated to the support, inclusivity and development of the students there. You would be expected to work on a 1:1 and small groups basis, supporting the class teacher in delivering the work set and engaging the students to interact.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for valuable classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant to support their career aspirations in Education, Mental Health, Psychology or Special Needs.
You must be a recent Graduate with a focus in mental health, education, care or special needs. Experience working with Special Needs previously or training in Moving and Handling or Team Teach is desirable but not essential.
