SEN Teaching Assistant – Grantham

A superb SEN specialist school based in Grantham is looking to find a warm, outgoing and hard-working SEN Teaching Assistant to provide vital 1:1 & small group support to children based in KS1 & KS2 classrooms. In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working both inside and outside of the classroom following a carefully structured EHCP.

You will be paid £83 per day during term time, whilst also having access to our partnership with the Online CPD College with free courses on SEN & Children’s Mental Health. The role is a Monday to Friday position, beginning ASAP and ending in July 2023.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology & Education based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Eager to progress into Psychology based career
