Are you a recent UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience graduate interested in finding a position where you can help support the all-round academic, social and emotional development of students?

i-teachers are working with a brilliant secondary school located in the Solihull area who are eager to add a dedicated Student Support Coach to their Year 11 department in a full-time role for the academic year.

In this role as a Student Support Coach, the successful candidate will be required to provide detailed 1:1 support to students in their Year 11 department with social, emotional or mental health difficulties based outside of the classroom environment.

Student Support Coach – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students in schools Year 11 department
  • Supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Creating tailored support for students focusing on academic weak points
  • Located in Solihull (B90)
  • Paid £450 per week during term time – September 2024 to July 2025
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
  • Monday to Friday role based in one secondary academy

Student Support Coach – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience degree
  • Prior experience working with children or young people
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Passionate about the development of all children
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with young people
