To be considered for this role you must have some previous experience working with children/young adults with special educational needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teachers to support pupils learning. You will assist the class teachers with preparing and planning fun activities. You will ensure the best possible education and ensure the pupils receive the support needed. You will be required to be an excellent motivator to inspire the pupils learning and be committed to their success. The most important thing is that you are passionate about supporting children with significant learning barriers as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

You must be calm and have a determined personality in order to make an impact on the pupils learning.

The school is located close to St Helens town centre and is accessible on public transport.
