Graduate Teaching Assistant – SCIENCE
This fantastic school in Keighley are looking for ambitious Science graduates who have achieved a 2:1 or higher in any Science discipline. This role would suit a Science graduate who is considering going into teaching and wants to gain paid experience prior to applying for a place on a PGCE or other training course in 2019. 

As a Science Teaching Assistant work with small groups and on a one to one basis supporting learners in their Science education. You will mainly be supporting GCSE classes, running intervention sessions with GCSE students who may be D/ C borderline and require additional support to get the desired learning outcomes.  The Head of Science leads a successful department and is looking for an ambitious graduate to join their supportive Science department this year.

The school is located in Keighley, with good transport links from Bradford as well as Leeds and other West Yorkshire areas, as well as boasting its own staff car park for drivers. In recent years the schools has been fully refurbished, with funding pumped into providing state-of-the-art resources, including fully equipped Science labs – which makes it a fantastic teaching and learning environment. The SLT are keen to ‘grow their own’ talent, and want an ambitious Science graduate who is looking to progress into teaching.
