Graduate Academic Learning Mentor

We are searching for an ambitious and career minded high achieving graduate who has gained at least a 2:1 in a core subject degree. Ideally you will have attended a Russell Group University and have strong A Levels to boot. You should have a passion for education and be focussed on a career in teaching. The school are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate their up to date knowledge and skills to engage pupils. You do not need to have previous experience in a Secondary school, however you must have worked with children/ young people and have good subject knowledge which will allow you to tutor children on the national curriculum.

This Academic Learning Mentor post will see you support the learning of children both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be specifically assigned to your subject department to assist their fantastic teachers. Day to day you will help pupils on a one to one basis and in small group exercises. The experienced teachers you work with will help you to develop your own skills as you look to progress in your own career.
