  • Graduate Science Academic Mentor role
  • Science related degree
  • Located in Leeds, West Yorkshire
  • £325 – £425 per week, term time only
  • Monday – Friday school hours, full time
  • Fantastic GCSE results
  • Visible and supportive SLT
  • Easily accessible via public transport links and a large car park for those who drive
  • Interviewing now for January start

Graduate Science Academic Mentor – The Role:

  • Work with pupils in your specialist subject
  • Deliver 1:1/group interventions
  • Monitor pupil’s progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and mental health
  • Liaise with Head of Department

Graduate Science Academic Mentor – Person Specification:

  • 1st class or 2:1 degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Strong academic background – e.g. A levels and GCSEs
  • Previous experience working with young people – essential
  • Positive and uplifting personality
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
