Pastoral Support Mentor – Nottingham

Are you an incoming Psychology based subject graduate looking to utilise your degree subject knowledge as a Pastoral Support Mentor this September?

Perhaps you want to gain first-hand teaching experience as a Pastoral Support Mentor before progressing into a specific field of Psychology?

Maybe you’re looking for the opportunity to support students with mental health needs through 1:1 and group support as a Pastoral Support Mentor?

In this role as a Pastoral Support Mentor you will have the opportunity to work alongside a superb Pastoral department able to give you the necessary support and guidance throughout the academic year. You will have the opportunity to work across KS3/KS5 and the school sixth form, working as a key foundation of support to provide students struggling with their mental health key 1:1 and group support.

Pastoral Support Mentor – Role Benefits:

  • Pastoral Support Mentor
  • Located in Nottingham
  • Paid £325 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Providing 1:1 and group support to secondary students
  • Access to schools superb staff development programmes
  • Working alongside experience Pastoral department
  • Monday – Friday role, NO SUPPLY!

Pastoral Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive personality
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about mental health education
