Role Description and Benefits – SEN Learning Support Assistant

  • SEN Learning Support Assistant – Long-term role
  • Full-time, Mon – Fri position
  • £80 – £90 per day (term-time only)
  • Support KS1 pupils who have a range of special educational needs
  • Support students with transitioning from different activities e.g., changing classroom, school trips, and arrival/home time
  • Support the teacher with alternative education preparation and delivery of lessons – you may also be required to closely record student progress via online platforms throughout the day
  • September 2022 start date
  • Free CPD courses
  • Full interview preparation and continued support throughout placement

Qualifications and Experience – SEN Learning Support Assistant

  • SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Minimum 2:1 grade in any subject
  • Ideal role for a Psychology graduate
  • Good A Levels
  • Basic knowledge of SEN
  • Prior experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school-based setting would be useful
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
