Primary Student Support Manager – The Role:

• Primary Student Support Manager
• Located in Small Heath, Birmingham (B10)
• Paid £400/450 per week, term time only
• Providing high quality, well-planned pastoral support and guidance to students and their families
• Promote high expectations, raise aspirations and facilitate academic
  progress

Primary Student Support Manager – The Responsibilities:

• Work closely with staff, parents and external agencies to develop positive attitudes and approaches to learning
• Be the first point of contact for parents with queries about support for
  their child
• Analyse attendance, behaviour and wellbeing data, to rapidly diagnose concerns
• Identify students in need of additional support and initiate, deliver and evaluate a support plan appropriate to their needs

Primary Student Support Manager – Applicant Requirements:

• Experience working in in a challenging educational environment
• Up to date working knowledge of Safeguarding and Health & safety requirements
• Understanding barriers of learning and a commitment to enabling young people to access education
• Experience of establishing effective relationships with young people, families and other stakeholders
• Genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student
