Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant – The Role:

• Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant
• Long-term, full-time support role
• £80 – £95 daily term time rate

Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant – The Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding support to enable pupils with additional needs including those with SEN to play a full and active part in the life of the school and to make outstanding progress in their learning.
• Support the teacher in the classroom and in preparation for lessons.
• Support children in their educational and social development.
• Help to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials.
• Motivate and encourage pupils.

Graduate Teaching and Learning Assistant – Person specification:

• Minimum 2:2 degree
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels and GCSEs
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Experience of working with children with SEND
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils and other adults
• Ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class
