Do you want the opportunity to plan and conduct 1:1 support sessions inside of a school as an SEN Teaching Assistant?

Perhaps you’re looking to gain vital 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant experience prior to progressing into a specific sector of Psychology?

A superb all through primary & secondary school based in Derby is looking to find a warm, passionate and outgoing SEN Teaching Assistant to help provide support across both the Primary & Secondary departments of the school for the rest of the academic year.

The role itself is a Monday to Friday full-time position until the end of the academic year. The salary for the role is £380 per week during term time, working out at £76 per day. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, able to shadow and develop your teaching techniques and skillsets alongside SEN professionals.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • Eager to gain first teaching experience
  • Desire to create excellent 1:1 support sessions
