We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Newcastle from January 2023. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain paid hands-on experience and develop skills whilst working in a team of friendly and dedicated staff, and making a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN.

Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – The role:

• Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
• Long-term, full-time support role
• Working in one school for the entire academic year, no day-to-day supply
• £350 – £450 per week (term-time pay)
• Supporting SEN students inside and outside the classroom
• Work with students on a 1:1 & group basis
• Interviewing now
• January 2023 start

Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Person specification:

• Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels and GCSEs
• Genuine desire to make a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN
• Supportive & patient attitude
