Are you a recent Psychology or Education Studies based graduate with a passion for education and a desire to find a role as an SEMH Support Assistant in Derby?

Do you want the opportunity to work as an SEMH Support Assistant providing valued 1:1 support to primary & secondary pupils with their academic, social and emotional health?

This superb all through school based in Derby are looking to find a hard-working, outgoing and naturally supportive recent graduate with a passion for supporting young people with their mental health. In this role, you would have the opportunity to provide vital 1:1 intervention sessions supporting children across both the primary & secondary department with SEMH & SEN learning needs.

You will earn £80 per day during term-time in a full-time Monday to Friday position ending in July 2023. The school are looking to find a quality SEMH Support Assistant for a January start and are beginning the interview process immediately.

SEMH Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally warm and supportive personality
  • Good organisation & communication skills
  • Passionate about supporting young children
  • Eager to gain vital SEMH & SEN teaching experience
