A superb Design & Technology Technician role has become available in a superb secondary school for the rest of the academic year beginning in January 2023. The role is a Monday to Friday position beginning in January 2023, earning £85 – £95 per day during term time depending on experience.

Design & Technology Technician – The Role:

• Design & Technology Technician
• Preparing resources for the delivery of the Design and Technology Curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 STEM education.
• Preparing resources for the delivery of primary liaison Design & Technology lessons.
• Making teaching aids to support the delivery of the Design & Technology curriculum.
• Assisting pupils and teaching staff in the classroom.
• Inspecting and maintaining equipment and machinery (including sewing machines and food preparation equipment) and reporting health and safety issues to the Head / Second in faculty.
• Keeping records of machinery checks, repairs and maintenance.

Design & Technology Technician – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Technology or Textiles based degree
• Strong academic background
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Outgoing, hard-working and supportive mentality
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Interested in working within a school environment
