Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – The role

  • Report to the SENCo
  • Placement within a mainstream school – low-level needs
  • Develop and deliver intervention sessions to individuals and small groups
  • Monitor behaviour
  • Ensure individual pupil goals are met
  • Start ASAP

Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – Person specification

  • 2:1 or above degree from a UK university
  • Support and attentive attitude
  • Passionate about learning
  • Tutoring experience desirable
