Role Description – SEND Teacher

  • SEND Teacher
  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time position, Mon – Fri
  • ASAP start date
  • Deliver literacy and language programmes to a range of students with SEN
  • Work closely with the SENCO to review student progress
  • Design and deliver intervention-based lessons
  • Lesson planning and developing resources
  • Curriculum planning

What You Need – SEND Teacher

  • Hold QTS and relevant undergraduate degree
  • Successful teaching experience at secondary level
  • Knowledge of National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and lead exciting lessons
  • Passion for working with students with SEN
  • Be able to manage workload effectively
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
