Are you a recent Science based subject graduate with an interest in education, and a desire to find a superb Science Tutor role in Nottingham?

Do you want the opportunity to work inside of a superb secondary school providing 1:1 & small group support inside and out of the classroom as a Science Tutor?

A superb secondary school based in Nottingham is looking to find a supportive, outgoing and enthusiastic recent Science subject based graduate with a passion for their specialist subject. In this role as a Science Subject Tutor, you will be working across KS3 & KS4 providing 1:1 & small group support to pupils struggling within the Physics, Biology or Chemistry subject.

You will earn £410 per week during term time, whilst also having access to our Online CPD College partnership where you have the opportunity to study a subject enhancement knowledge course in safeguarding, children’s mental health or SEN education. The role is a Monday to Friday position until July 2023, with the option of progressing into a permanent role upon evaluation.

Science Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Science based subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Naturally outgoing, supportive and hard-working
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about your specialist subject
  • Interested in a career within education
