Are you a recent Science based subject graduate with a passion for your specialist subject and a desire to provide 1:1 & small group support as a Science Academic Tutor?

Maybe you’re looking for the opportunity to gain first-hand, school based tutoring experience working with Year 11 pupils as a Science Academic Tutor?

A superb secondary school based in Worksop is looking to find an excellent recent Science Academic Tutor to provide 1:1 & small group support across both KS3 & KS4 inside and out of their classroom environment for the rest of the academic year. In this role, you will follow a carefully structured session plan and moulding your sessions towards students needs and requirements with the aim of helping them reach their full academic potential!

In this role you will earn up to £85 per day during term time, working Monday to Friday from 08.30am until 15.00pm, ending July 2023. You will also have access to our Online CPD College, where you can gain a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Mental Health, Safeguarding and SEN awareness free of charge.

Science Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Science subject based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Good organisation & communication skills
  • Naturally warm, supportive and outgoing personality
  • Inspiring and engaging attitude during work hours
  • Passionate about education
