Part-time Graduate Science Tutor – The Role

• Part-time Graduate Science Tutor – Supporting Year 11 students that are struggling in Science
• Tutor year 11 students in Science on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Prepare students for their GCSEs
• 10-2 Monday to Friday for the rest of the academic year
• Paid £200 – £250 per week
• Gain invaluable classroom experience with routes into teacher training

Part-time Graduate Science Tutor – Person specification

• Minimum 2:2 degree in any subject
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels and GCSE in Science
• Aspiring teacher with a patient & supportive manner
• Strong communication skills
• Can work independently
• Prior tutoring / education experience is desirable
