Autism Graduate 1:1 Mentor – The Role:

  • Secondary Autism Graduate 1:1 Assistant- Graduate role
  • Work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Autism
  • Support children who have special educational needs/ challenging behaviour
  • Differentiate according to individual needs
  • Work in a lovely secondary school in Sunderland, SR3
  • Communicate excellently with the SEND team

Secondary Autism Graduate 1:1 Assistant– Person Specification:

  • 1stclass or 2:1 degree in Psychology or relatable subject
  • Strong academic background (A-Levels & GCSEs)
  • Passionate about education and SEN
  • Thinking of becoming a teacher or Educational Psychologist in the future
  • Autism experience is desirable
