A wonderful primary school based in Swadlincote is looking to find a motivated, outgoing and hardworking recent graduate to join their SEN department for the remainder of the academic year as a Primary Teaching Assistant. In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions based inside and out of the classroom for a child in a KS1 following a carefully structured EHCP.

In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will earn £85 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday role beginning ASAP and ending in July. You will also have access to our partnership with the online CPD college, able to study a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Mental Health Awareness and Safeguarding.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:2 UK Based Psychology or Child Studies related degree
• Good academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive personality
• Dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for children
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career in education
