Learning Support Assistant

We are looking to appoint a patient and remarkable person who can fill the role of Learning Support Assistant at a well-established school in the heart of Edgbaston.

Have you recently graduated from university with at least a 2:1 and would love to make a difference to young people as a Learning Support Assistant?

Or maybe you are a looking to gain first-hand experience in the classroom before potentially pursuing a career in education?

If so, this fantastic role as a Learning Support Assistant is perfect for you.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure any children with special educational needs are integrated into the curriculum and making progress.

Learning Support Assistant – The Role

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Assist class teachers in lessons
  • Give 1:1 support for pupils and track their academic progress
  • £300-350 per week take home, term time only
  • Amazing opportunity for an aspiring teacher

Learning Support Assistant – Person Specification

  • A minimum of 2:1 degree
  • Excellent academic results e.g. A-Levels
  • As a Learning Support Assistant you will need a patient and caring manner
  • Passionate about education
  • Great subject knowledge
  • Excellent for aspiring teachers
