A wonderful Alternative Provision School based in Brigg is looking to find a warm, supportive and outgoing recent graduate for a superb SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting children in a small classroom with special educational needs. In this role, you will be supporting the class teacher during lesson time whilst creating a warm and engaging class environment for children following an Education Health Care Plan.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be paid £80 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday position beginning immediately and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our Online CPD College with the opportunity to study a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and SEN.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Psychology or Education based degree desirable
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Passionate about supporting children with SEN
• Excellent organisation & communication skills
