A lovely primary school renowned for its inclusive and forward-thinking approach to education are looking to find a warm, outgoing and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 department for the remainder of the academic year. In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be providing a child in a KS1 department with tailored 1:1 support sessions inside and out of the classroom based around an Education Health Care Plan.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will earn £84 per day during term time only in a Monday to Friday position from 08.30am until 15.00pm until July 2023. You will also have access to our partnership with the online CPD college, and the option to study a free course on topics such as Safeguarding, SEN, and Managing Challenging Behaviour In The Classroom.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Patient and understanding regarding child’s progress
